This is my theme. I glazed it blue and then dropped blue from the bottom and into the inside. It made a light blue which I thought was weird because I thought it would turn out a little different but it was still cool!
This is my hand and wheel and I made this very pretty cup and it has a very very nice handle and it's made of porcelain and I think it is very nice and the glaze is very nice.
This is my frankenpot. I glazed it a lot of different colors to emphasize that it was not one whole piece that it unifies by bringing it all together but shows the separate parts of it. I really liked doing this project and it is really cool. I like the inside and the glaze that is in the project.
This is my theme project. It is a porcelain bowl. I used a clear coating on the outside. I used a blue glaze on the inside to add depth and make it draw the eye into the center. I really like the color and how the contrast makes the bowl look. The sleek edges of this bowl cause my eyes to constantly trace the outer edge with my gaze. The glaze of this bowl is almost as perfect as a mirrors reflection.
This is my lidded project. I glazed it a bunch of different blues on the front and top. I really like it because it adds surface texture and design. I really enjoy the design and shape of the bottom. It has a very nice lip. I threw both on the wheel but added the knob with slip and score. Over the blue I glazed it clear to make sure it was shiny and nice. I really like this lidded project it has a very bright and sky feel.
This is my wheel altered. It is made of red clay and it is glazed shadow green it looks really nice and I made it a flower like shape.8 really like the shape and how the green accents the red with it
These are my two plates. I made them out of red and porcelain marbled. I really enjoy them. I learned from these and decided to make my next plate much thicker I'm excited to see which one I like better.
